The Commonwealth Fund recently released a report that provides a comparison of health care systems in other countries compare with the US, analyzing five major areas: quality, efficiency, access to care, equity and healthy lives. In overall health system ranking, The Netherlands came in first, followed by the UK, Australia, Germany, New Zealand, Canada, and in last place the US. The revealing fact is that the US under performs on most of the areas measured despite spending more than other nations.
