“There is no point in talking about funding a sector if you don’t have anyone to work in it.  There are such enormous savings from reduced staff turnover and increased retention that you’d be crazy not to invest in your workplace,” said Dr Robyn Stone during her presentation at the ACSA meeting this week in Adelaide, Australia.

As reported in the Australian Ageing Agenda, Dr. Stone, Executive Director of the Institute for the Future of Aging Services and IAHSA’s research director, presented compelling reasons why ageing service providers need to improve the culture of their workplace to keep workers.

Robyn will also be presenting at the AAHSA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia later this month.
