The British Government announced today its strategy for “Building a Society for All Ages”, with the goal of preparing Britain for dealing with its ageing population.

As reported on 24Dash.Com, the plan will feature ways to help everyone deal with the demographic changes, addressing such issues as retirement, pensions, age discrimination and care and support services.

IAHSA’s 8th International Conference is in London next week and it is anticipated that more announcements will be made at that time.  David Behan, Director General for Social Care in the Department of Health is speaking about the issue on Wednesday morning 23 July.
