Workability is the key to having a productive older workforce, according to Professor Phillip Taylor, professor at Australia’s Swinburne University of Technology and former executive director of Cambridge University’s Interdiscipilinary Research Centre on Ageing.

Countries with an ageing workforce that want to remain competitive need to increase productivity through technology and training but they also need to increase workability of the older worker as well as ensure that workers willingly stay in the workforce.
