Over the years, IAHSA has established itself as a global leader in ageing services by creating an active network of providers, government officials and businesses dedicated to addressing global issues. Leveraging its global leadership in the field, IAHSA is calling all of its members to focus on improving the quality of life for the elders served through the IAHSA Quality Movement.

The IAHSA Quality Movement is a global quality improvement initiative for ageing services providers that creates a common definition of quality and nurtures a positive image of service providers around the globe.IAHSA Quality Movement is the way in which IAHSA and its members accept responsibility for assuring that the people they serve receive quality care and services.

The programme is designed to work in conjunction with the quality improvement programmes currently used and applies to all of IAHSA’s provider members: adult day services, home health, community services, senior housing, assisted living residences, retirement villages and care homes.

The Quality Movement is a self-monitoring programme. IAHSA members set their own benchmarks and “raise the quality bar” in their organisations. To help you reach your quality improvement goals, we have created the following tools:

The IAHSA Quality Movement is a dynamic programme; IAHSA will be created more tools and guides to help you make the most of it. And most importantly, the Quality Movement is designed to be member driven, so please share your stories with us for your colleagues to replicate.

It doesn’t matter where in the world older people live; through the IAHSA Quality Movement, we can have a significant impact on the quality of life for them.
