Remember the Zimmers, the singing group that became a worldwide phenomenon, composed of singers whose collective age is about 3700?    Their signature song was ‘My Generation’ by The Who, with the catchy line “I hope I die before I get old’.

There are a number of songs that speak to growing old and The Guardian has collected reader input on what are the best.   I’m disappointed that ‘My Generation’ didn’t make the list.  Neither did The Beatles “When I’m 64”.  But I guess 64 isn’t considered old any more.
