Today the Pan American Health Organization hosted a symposium on health ageing. With speakers from the Americas including Argentina, Mexico and the United States, the event  highlighted the importance of social connectedness and support across the lifespan. Speakers including Dr Luciano Di Cesare, Dr Linda Fried, and Dr Michael Hodin spoke on the importance of facing the social stigma associated with old age in order to be able to actively address health behaviors across the lifespan and promote a new vision of old age.
